Inclusionist, or inclus, is a term for anyone who is inclusive to all good-faith identities within the LGBTQ+ community. This includes xenogenders, neopronouns, a-spec identities, m-spec identities, and more. Various inclusionist groups have been created by queer communities, catered to specific minorities or micro-labels within the LGBTQ+ umbrella.

Ally Similar An individual who supports and advocates for the rights and dignity of LGBTQ+ individuals. Inclusionist specifically infers the acceptance of individual LGBTQ+ groups and minorities, and their unique experiences, whereas allyship refers to the support of the LGBTQ+ umbrella as a whole.
Exclusionist Opposite Someone who attempts to gatekeep the LGBTQ+ community by claiming certain groups do not fall under the LGBTQ+ umbrella. Exclusionists are not inclusive of all LGBTQ+ identities.

Flags and Symbols

The All-Inclusive Lesbian or Aurora Lesbian flag was created by ferretwlw on Tumblr, in 2020. Its colors are based off of the northern lights. Dark blue was chosen to represent community and solidarity, purple representing diversity, pink representing self acceptance and pride, yellow representing lesbian history and culture, and mint representing inclusivity and tolerance.[9]

The Blueberry Bisexual flag was potentially created by Instagram users @\opinionatedbisexual and @\aiko_sayz on the 24th of September, 2020. The first, second, and last stripe represents strength and power in fighting phobia, the third and fifth stripe represents the oath to always be respectful, kind, and polite, the fourth stripe represents the beauty in allyship and peace, and the sixth and seventh tripe represents love and unity between the multi-attractional spectrum community.[13][14]

An anti-exclusionist flag, named the Lammergeier flag, was created by Reddit/FANDOM user Grinalbi.[26] It was made in response to the exclusionists flag and rhetoric around the time the E.C.L.I.P.S.E. community on Twitter was creating their flags.

The meaning of the Lammergeier flag goes as follows:[27]

  • Woodsmoke - Combination of all the colors of the rainbow spectrum, symbolizing unity, inclusion and variety.
  • Crimson red - Wrath against those who seek to divide and abuse the community, whether they are exclusionists, queerphobes, or the like.
  • Brick orange - Warmth, love, passion and solidarity towards the queer community.
  • Faded orange - The freedom and right to exist as one's true self, even when faced with adversity and strife.
  • Sand - The whole community shining bright like the sun.

The Bisexual of the Sunset Blade flags were created as alternatives for the Bisexual of the Blade movement.[28] It is unclear what the addition of the 'sunset' implies.
