Pupgender
Pupgender is a faunagender that falls under the canisgender umbrella.
it was originally defined as "a gender that is small, lively, cute and any other quality associated with puppies, that is puppy-like and/or connected to puppies."[1]
It also defined as a neutral gender identity that closely relates to or feels like dogs or puppies, and is closely related to autigender and other neurogenders.[2]
Possible Interpretations
Pupgender is or can be a gender that is:
- Has qualities associated with puppies.
- Puppy-like and/or connected to puppies.
- Closely relates to or feels like puppies or dogs.
- Present when around, viewing, or perceiving puppies.
- Related to one's theriotype or kintype as a kingender.
History
Tumblr user xeno-aligned coined the term on or before April 17th 2019.[1]
Twitter user Kandipaws created the flag on or before March 17th 2020 and made a carrd to further expand on its definition.[2][3]
On May 3rd, 2020, Tumblr user Viraldoll created an alternate pupgender flag.[4]
