Singulus (orientation) is an orientation prefix that describes the capacity for attraction to multiple genders, but the inability to experience simultaneous attraction to more than one gender.[1] For example, a singulussexual individual may experience both homosexual and heterosexual attraction, but will never experience both homosexual and heterosexual attraction at the same time.
Singulus as an orientation is not defined or limited by time between the shifts of attraction, as some singulus- individuals may experience shifts of attraction every day, while others may every month. However, singulus- individuals never experience simultaneous attraction, including multiple attractions that fluctuate or "fade in/out".
