Proxvir
Proxvir is a gender that is near-male, but is its own gender and exists entirely on its own.[1] It sits on the male side of the gender spectrum, and is aligned with and connected to masculinity, but is not connected to manhood. Proxvir also falls under the umbrella term mingender.
The word 'proxvir' is used as an adjective, the same way male and female are used. For example, "I am proxvir", not "I am a proxvir". The same logic as to how an individual would say "I am male", and not "I am a male".
Proxvir is made up of two parts, 'prox' which is a shortened version of 'proximus' meaning 'near', 'nearest', or 'next to', and '-vir' meaning 'man' or 'husband'.[2][3]
