Main Umbrella: Fingender

Gender(s): Feminine and near-female

Juxera is a gender that is near-female, but is its own gender and exists entirely on its own.[1] It sits on the female side of the gender spectrum, and is aligned with and connected to femininity, but is not connected to womanhood. It also falls under the umbrella term fingender.

The word juxera is used as an adjective, the same way male and female are used. For example, "I am juxera", not "I am a juxera". The same logic as to how an individual would say "I am female", and not "I am a female".

Juxera is made up of two parts, jux which is a shortened version of juxta, meaning near, nearby, or close. And -era which means lady or "lady of the house".[2][3]
