Turian (Also known as Veldian) refers to Gay Men and Gay Non-Binary individuals. It is an inclusive label and can be described as ‘Queer Attraction To Men’

The Sub-Term of Turian is Lavenian, which describes a Turian who is Gender Non-Conforming

History

The term comes from Alan Turing who was an English mathematician, computer scientist, logician, cryptanalyst, philosopher, and theoretical biologist known for breaking the enigma code. [1]

The flag for Turian was made by Tumblr user Kenochoric on October 4th 2020. (Citation Needed)

The terms Turian, Veldian, and Lavenian were made later, on November 13th 2020 (Citation Needed)

Veldian is an alternative term for those who prefer not to use labels that include names and comes from the Afrikaans word veld or veldt[2] meaning a grassland.
