Diurnalsexual, diurnalromantic, and diurnalpla were coined by LGBTA Wiki user Acornfig on November 20, 2021. The name "diurnalsexual" was coined by LGBTA Wiki user Stardustcollective on the same date.[1]
The diurnalromantic flag was created by an unknown on November 22, 2021.[2] An alternate flag was coined on December 17, 2021 by Tumblr user felix-makes-flags.[3]
