Aestheticflux is a term on the aesthetic attraction spectrum describing an individual who experiences fluctuating aesthetic attraction. One’s aesthetic attraction may fluctuate throughout the whole spectrum from anaesthetic to alloaesthetic, or only a specific segment of the spectrum such as fluctuating between anaesthetic and grayaesthetic.
The term and flag is based on both aroflux and aceflux.
History
The term was coined by Arlo on Discord with another user: sleepy.saturn7 on April 3, 2024, Arlo made and posted it on Discord on the same day.
The flag uses pink which is commonly associated with aesthetic attraction.
The Tumblr user Arlosworld91 doesn’t consent to alternate flags being made without permission.[1]
